I developed Bump with privacy in mind, which is why I kept the use of personal data to a minimum. In order to provide the best experience, your first name and profile picture will be stored on a server alongside other, non-personal information connected to your account.
Using your real first name or using a picture of yourself is optional, since your Bump contacts should know who you are anyway. Providing correct information simply makes for a better user experience.
Other than that, Bump does not collect any personal data of you. The ads you see come from Google AdMob and access the local cookies that Google uses to track you across your Android or iOS device. So while you will see personalized ads, it is only based on information that Google already has about you, not because Bump collects any data about you.

General
The User is hereby expressly notified that Bump is currently available and usable as a non-final beta version. The User is not provided with a final product, but with a test version under development. Any claims against the Developer or liability of the Developer in any form in connection with Bump are therefore excluded without exception. The Developer has developed Bump as an alternative to large foreign social media apps, which is why privacy and data protection are already given high priority in the present non-final beta version. The Developer will therefore use the data voluntarily provided by the User to the best of its knowledge and belief only to provide the functionality of Bump. The terms of use will be updated after the end of the test phase.
User data
A user account is required to use Bump. You are responsible for ensuring that your access data is kept confidential and not disclosed to third parties. The Developer reserves the right to block access to Bump if, through the fault of the User, the access data is misused, e.g. by forwarding it to third parties.
Availability
The Developer makes every effort to provide access to Bump 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In the event of errors of any kind that restrict or prevent the use of Bump, there is no claim to performance. Temporary interruptions of service due to the usual maintenance times, system-immanent disturbances of the internet at foreign network operators as well as in case of force majeure are possible. No liability is assumed for the constant availability of the online connection. Claims for compensation in the event of a service interruption or system failure cannot be asserted.
Copyright
Bump is protected by copyright. The Developer reserves all rights. The design and usage patterns are subject to the copyright of the Developer. Reproduction of the Bump app in any form is prohibited.
Technical requirements
To use Bump properly, you must have compatible devices and certain software. It is recommended to use the latest version of Bump. Regular updates of your devices may also be required. The use of Bump also requires Internet access. No liability is assumed for any damage to devices related to the use of Bump.

Der Entwickler hat Bump als Alternative zu großen ausländischen Social Media Apps entwickelt, weshalb bereits in der vorliegenden nicht-finalen Beta-Version Privatsphäre und Datenschutz hohe Priorität genießen. Der Entwickler wird die vom Nutzer freiwillig zur Verfügung gestellten Daten deshalb nach bestem Wissen und Gewissen lediglich zur Bereitstellung der Funktionalität von Bump nutzen. Die Nutzungsbedingungen werden nach dem Ende der Testphase aktualisiert.
Zugangsdaten
Zur Nutzung von Bump wird ein Nutzerkonto benötigt. Sie sind dafür verantwortlich, dass Ihre Zugangsdaten vertraulich behandelt und nicht an Dritte weitergegeben werden. Der Entwickler behält sich vor, den Zugang zu Bump zu sperren, wenn durch Verschulden des Nutzers ein Missbrauch der Zugangsdaten, z.B. durch Weiterleitung an Dritte, erfolgt.
Verfügbarkeit
Wir sind bemüht, den Zugang zu Bump 24 Stunden täglich und an sieben Tagen pro Woche zur Verfügung zu stellen. Bei Fehlern jeglicher Art, die die Nutzung von Bump einschränken oder verhindern, besteht keine kein Anspruch auf Leistung. Vorübergehende Betriebsunterbrechungen aufgrund der üblichen Wartungszeiten, systemimmanenten Störungen des Internets bei fremden Netzbetreibern sowie im Falle höherer Gewalt sind möglich. Es wird keine Haftung für die ständige Verfügbarkeit der Online-Verbindung übernommen. Ansprüche auf Entschädigung bei einer Betriebsunterbrechung bzw. bei einem Systemausfall können nicht geltend gemacht werden.
Urheberrecht
Bump ist urheberrechtlich geschützt. Der Entwickler behält sich alle Rechte vor. Die Gestaltung und Nutzungsmuster unterliegen dem Urheberrecht des Entwicklers. Eine Vervielfältigung der Bump App in jeglicher Art ist untersagt.
Technische Voraussetzungen
Voraussetzung für die einwandfreie Nutzung von Bump ist, dass Sie über kompatible Geräte und gewisse Software verfügen. Es wird empfohlen, die aktuellste Version von Bump zu nutzen. Auch regelmäßige Updates Ihrer Geräte können erforderlich sein. Die Nutzung von Bump erfordert außerdem einen Internetzugang. Es wird keine Haftung für jegliche Schäden an Geräten, die mit der Nutzung von Bump in Zusammenhang stehen, übernommen.
